Kirkman`s VIP Pizza in Exeter

For me a restaurant must have two out of the three: 1. Great food 2. Excellent customer service 3. Enjoyable atmosphereUnfortunately this place only has one of the three and for me it’s the atmosphere. The food well....I’ve had better & customer service is nowhere near excellent (we’ve been here several times) I’m guessing great service must come on certain days because the times we’ve eaten here we have never had a smile from anyone working here. The guy with the muscles and the sour face gives us this annoyed look when we’ve eaten here. Nevertheless, there are other options here in Exeter that can provide all 3 of my request:)

Felt very welcome at VIP. Reminds me like the remake of Cheers..where everyone knows your name. Pizza was awesome.

I'm from Germany and slept a night in exeter to visit the national park.I ate the best pizza of my life here. Absolutely awesome. Visiting absolutely !!!

KIRKMANS VIP PIZZA is just one of the Diamonds that make up the jewel that is EXETER Ca. The pizza is fantastically cooked in a real Pizza oven not the Tractor fed type used at chain pizza places. May I suggest the Pepperoni and Sausage on Thick crust "Well Done". It was suggested to me by the folks at Monarch Ford that VIP made a great Pastrami sandwich. Well To my surprise it was probably the best Pastrami Sandwich I have ever had, and that's coming from a guy from CHICAGO "we know our Pastrami sandwiches." Great beers on tap "My go to is the Firestone Walker Union Jack" Your surrounded by Sports on Five Big TV's. Great Food, Great People, Sports, and Ice Cold BEER how could it get any better? Oh I know put it smack dab in the middle of EXETER CA. Bravo KIRKMANS VIP You've hit a home run with me every time you've been up to bat👍

This spot obviously knows how to serve their customers. Always with a super nice demeanor. The food is affordably priced, always flavorful and clean.

We ordered the pizza to go and also ordered potato wedges! We got a half and half and it was delicious!

Amazing place! Food was great and over the phone service was great. When we came to pick up the pizza the guy looked kinda depressed but I guess that’s what happens when you work at a vegan pizza restaurant.

Great food and service. This is a little gem in exeter. Locally owned and hires high school kids.

Very overcrowded due to the small area to eat with your family,the pizza was okay. Employees are very good people who are friendly and respectful.

Looking for a local pizza joint! Exeter's Kirkman VIP is the place to go. Chicken wings and an awesome salad bar help round out your meal!

VIP makes the most amazing pizza! Their creamy garlic sauce is outstanding! The staff is friendly and the place can get to standing room only occupancy. You can order take out or have it delivered if the joint is jumping! Highly recommended!

Ordered a beef calzone it’s against my religion eat pork and guess what they put in their pork

Worst pizza I have ever had! Bland taste, crust was aweful, hardly any sauce. The beef doesn't taste anything like beef. The Powell's was supposed to be Thick stuffed crust... it was just all bad.

An associate recommended this place for lunch, and oh dear was he right, the pizza it's up there in the top 3 for sure, fresh ingredients, toasted dough and family like ambiance, I would definitely recommend this pizza joint to all my friends.

Visiting family and decided to order pizza (delivery) from VIP. First time customers and the pizza is great. Love the thin crust and thick toppings. Pizza was still hot when it arrived. Will definitely order or visit the restaurant in a few weeks when we are back in town.

Absolutely loved their pizza. First time trying it. We went on a group motorcycle ride from Bakersfield. Definitely will be going back.

This is the spot for delicious pizza! A local favorite they have great appetizers, a good beer selection (and some wines) and plenty of tvs to watch the game. They have an upstairs area for parties too. Give this place a shot if you’re in Exeter!

We stopped here on our way back from Sequoia National Park. We had the garlic chicken pizza and it was SO good and very good price. And it’s a great spot to watch the game! Highly recommend. Open till 9pm!

New ownership or new staff has lessened the quality and atmosphere of what was once a quaint pizza parlor. Feels more like a smokey sports bar with new clients and alcohol selection. Prices went up without justified service or quality of food. Sadly only 1 of 2 pizza options nearby

Sour dough pizza crust is definitely a crowd pleaser. Solid craft beer line up too.
